Do you ever wonder how this universe came to be? Do you sometimes find yourself questioning how life started? Or do you wonder where is your place in the universe? Are you still curious about space, like a little kid?
Hey! I am Kaman Dhiman, studying physics honors.
Occasionally I wonder how life comes on this planet earth? How come the planet earth? How come the universe? Does it all have a beginning? Is it going to die? Where are we in this universe? Why are we here? Why does it all start?
Here on ASTROCOSMOS, together we’ll travel through the universe. Ha!
Well, most people find astronomy or astrophysics, or cosmology very difficult to understand and they think that these fields are all maths, though it is true that these fields mostly contain mathematics and long, long equations. But these long equations can be simplified for the general public, who don’t know much about equations but are looking for answers to satisfy their curiosity and to learn about space, and for kids. So here, I am trying to communicate science in a simplified form, for people who are eager to learn and understand astronomy or astrophysics, or cosmology. We’ll use very less and simplified equations, if necessary.
The thing that I want to state clearly: I am not an expert on this field, I am learning. I am a student with a crazy interest in space science and cosmology.
So, we’ll learn together, here, on ASTROCOSMOS.
It might be strange world not being a scientists, going through life not knowing — or maybe not caring — about where the air came from, and where the stars at night came from, or how far they’re from us. I want to know.
